Discover Exceptional Wines at Co-Op Prices
At Two Horse Wine Co., we believe world-class wines should be accessible to all. Our model is inspired by the “caves coopératives vinicoles” I discovered while living in Provence in the 1990s—a system known for producing exceptional, local blends from local farmers at incredible prices. I used to take road trips in my Citroën 2CV to various co-ops throughout Provence, filling a five-liter jug with truly great wine for just a few French Francs. We are now bringing this same concept to you: a curated selection of world-class wines offered at cooperative prices. Our commitment to quality and value ensures every bottle is a testament to passion and craftsmanship without the world-class price tag.

Our connection to French wine is deep, rooted in memories like the one pictured above. This is my father in 1995 with “Marianne,” my beloved Citroën 2CV, near Mont Ventoux. Our road trip that day was to visit the Musée du Tire-Bouchon (Corkscrew Museum) in Ménerbes. I still remember the owner of the museum was surprised that two Americans came to visit in such a typically French car, the 2CV. After all “Ceci n’est pas une voiture, c’est un art de vivre!” or “its not a car, but a way of life!” which sums up our view about wine! Our next stop on our road trip was a “cave coopérative vinicole” to fill up on local Côtes de Provence wine—a tradition that perfectly captures the spirit of simplicity and quality we champion at Two Horse Wine Co. I named the car “Marianne” after the French national symbol and Revolutionary War heroine, whose image graced the old French Franc currency. She’s a classic, full of French spirit, and still turns heads wherever I drive her!
Follow “Marianne” on Instagram and Facebook, and look for her at our wine tasting events hosted at various retailers. We plan to offer raffle tickets for rides, with 100% of the proceeds going to charity. We’d love for you to stop by and take a picture!
